Star Wars: Resistance, “Station Theta Black”, Review!

Colossus Base, Bucket complains to Yeager about Kaz taking the Firebolt and Tam walks in 

angry. She has a stabilizer that Kaz will need for the ship.  Kaz finds the ship unresponsive 

and BB-8 reports the stablizers are offline.  The Blockade Runner appears and Poe tells Kaz 

that it will be brought in by tractor beam.  BB-8 is happy to return to Poe and sees another 

astro-droid, CP-23, at his side.  Poe takes him to see General Organa (Carolyn Hennesy). 

She voiced General Organa in LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars replacing the previous actress.   

He has information about the First Order.  She says they might track a flight path through 

the Unknown Regions.  General Organa stresses several times not to engage the enemy.  

Kaz flies wingman to Poe’s X-Wing fighter.  He detects something in space, they pass 

beacons, BB-8 detects a ship. Poe says they should power down to confuse sensors to think 

they are asteroids.  They reach a base on an asteroid.  Poe finds that the base has no life 

forms or droids.  Another base and another asteroid field, not much creativity here. 

STAR WARS: RESISTANCE -- “Station Theta Black -- Disney/Lucasfilm.

He lands his X-Wing and Kaz joins him.  Poe tells CP-23 to fly the X-Wings to the asteroid
field.  Poe gives Kaz a blaster, but he only has used a blaster with a simulator. Kaz finds a 
computer monitor and BB-8 discovers that it is slated for demolition.  A droid becomes active 
sending out multiple electrical prods and blasters.  Both Resistance fighters take cover and Poe
blasts the droid. An alarm is sounded on Captain Phasma’s Station Theta Black hologram, she
tells Commander Pyre to join the demolition crew.  First Order Fighters hyperspace in and CP-
23 detects them.  BB-8 has gotten the message.  The Kylo Ren shuttle lands and Captain 
Phasma orders stormtroopers to scout the upper floors.  Explosives are brought in to destroy 
the station.  BB-8 has found the control room and Kaz has found that it is a mining base to 
mine definite which is used for blasters.  They run into stormtroopers.  Poe points his blaster at
the explosives.  It is strange that Captain Phasma can’t use the security monitors for the station
to see the Resistance agents.

Poe backs up and then blasts a trooper, the blast door, and then the explosive.  Kaz’s 

reaction is to scream.  Poe runs into stormtroopers, punches one out, and BB-8 electrocutes 

another. Poe runs into Captain Phasma who shoots at him.  Kaz runs on a gantry parallel to 

Poe. Kaz uses a computer monitor to crash into Poe’s gantry and pulls Poe back up.  The X-

Wings movie in and the pilots jump on the fighters.  Commander Pyre in his red TIE fighter

fires on them.  Poe moves them into the cover of the station.  Kaz is hit and Commander 

Pyre is confronted by the oncoming shuttle with Captain Phasma.  The base explodes and 

Poe tells Kaz that they can’t jump to hyperspace with the asteroids.  Poe is alone.  He calls 

for Kaz and BB-8.  He finally answers, hiding on an asteroid, Poe congratulates him and 

hyperspace back to the Resistance. Kaz says his senator father would not believe in the

evidence that the First Order is making weapons.  Again, this has nothing to do with the 

Colossus Base, finding the spy, it does have Poe, but we already had adventures with Poe in

 “Signal from Sector Six”, episode seven.
