Star Trek vs. Transformers #4 Review!

We are getting close to the end of the battle of Cygnus Seven.  John Barber and Mike Johnson are writing the mini-series and Philip Murphy is providing the art.  The cover by Priscilla Tramontano has the classic Enterprise bridge scene encountering Optimus Prime.  Usually it is a villain so maybe Trypticon or Megatron?  Last issue, we had Kirk taking control of Fortress Maximus in Enterprise form.  He takes on the Decepticons as he dubs himself Fortress Tiberius.  Kirk has to struggle with Fortress Maximus taking over and he is supported by Ratchet.  Bumblebee with M’Ress and Jazz are on the planet.  McCoy warns Kirk that his fighting is rocking the insides with the miners.  Spock reminds him that he can’t take life, but Fortress Tiberius blasts Trypticon anyway.  The Klingon captain, Kuri, worries about the battle to Starscream.  On Windblade, Sulu is scanning the Decepticons.  Starscream is in the mine and discovers the Dilithium Crystals!   The Autobots transform into the robot form and Windblade has them duck under the attack of Trypticon.  Sulu reminds Jazz about his comment about humans being small to Trypticon’s size.  

Starscream in jet form leaves with the Dilithium Crystals and uses the Klingon cloak to escape.  Optimus Prime rages and fires on the Klingons!  Optimus Prime takes this occasion to attack Megatron with his energy axe, but he is already weak.  Trypticon blasts Fortress Tiberius and Kirk feels the pain!  Jazz takes on Megatron during the battle.  Kirk struggles to keep his identity while plugged into Fortress Maximus.  He is able to regain his identity.  Megatron calls for Trypticon to transform into the Klingon bird-of-prey to pursue Starscream.  Spock, transported to the planet, Sulu and M’Ress take the Klingons into custody.  Kirk/Fortress Tiberius has detected Starscream and M'Ress wonders about the Enterprise.  The Federation ship via Lt. Uhura is trying to contact the landing party with Arex in command.  The Enterprise is without impulse engines or warp drive, basically drifting in space.  Uhura gets a transmission, it is the Enterprise!  Really Fortress Tiberius with Kirk in the captain’s chair.  He transports over Windblade, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Jazz to help with the repairs.  Then, sends M’Ress, Sulu, and Spock.  His First Officer reminds him that they can’t invade Klingon space to pursue Starscream.  While, Megatron is pursuing Starscream in the Trypticon bird-of-prey to his destination, Kronos!  There is no new characters, the battle expands from Cygnus Seven, but nothing too surprising.  The other Autobots and Starfleet officers should be added at this time.
