Berry followed it with the comedy Boomerang (1992). One of the interesting early role for Halle Berry for me was as the airline attendent Jean in the action movie Executive Decision (1996). In 1999, she won the Emmy Award for her lead in the television movie, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. An early genre part for Halle Berry was as Storm in X-Men (2000). She won the Best Actress Academy Award for the drama Monster’s Ball (2001). Berry was a Bond Girl and spy, Jinx Johnson, in Die Another Day (2002). She returned as Storm in X2: X-Men United (2003).
Berry was in the horror movie, Gothika (2003) as Miranda Grey, a psychiatrist who finds herself in the hospital. Another comic book role was the lead in Catwoman (2004). Berry reprised her role as Ororo Munore in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). She had serveal parts in the sci fi movie Cloud Atlas (2012). Next, was her final time as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). Then, she appeared in the sci fi series Extant (2014-2015). There is a resurgence in Berry’s film roles playing Ginger Ale in Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017). In 2019, she has the stunning action part as Sofia in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. She is the executive producer of the television series Boomerang based on her 1992 film. Upcoming is Halle Berry’s directoral debut with Bruised in which she also stars as MMA fighter Jackie Justice!
