Re:cap - Donny Blaze makes a rabbit appear and the judge sides with him to continue magic even though he and his team disrespected the court. Jen returns home and is in her pyjamas and then makes a She-Hulk profile on matcher after her lawyer look gets 0 matches. Her dates don’t get much better. One geeky guy brings up if she is vulnerable to vibranium, connected to the Wrecking Crew. Another date, Derek (David Otunga) is a doctor, and Jen is interested. Donny Blaze forms another portal, the audience laughs, and then Johnny conjures a piegon that lays an egg on his volunteer’s hand. It opens to at tiny demon vermin. He kicks it into the portal and more swarm out! Very similar to the pixies in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002). Wong is watching This is Us when Donny appears and Wong goes to save the universe. Back at Jen’s apartment, she ignores calls on her cell phone, spills wine on Derek’s shirt, he pulls it off and She-Hulk’s mouth drops! Maslany’s expression is funny.
He returns and they are about to kiss when Wong opens the portal for her help. Wong says he feels like her father as she sees the demons. Wong opens a portal to the Himalyans, he starts magic lassoing them, as Donny and Cornelius try to crawl away. The demons grow and She-Hulk grabs one as others are sucked into the portal. She has them agree to her terms. Meanwhile, Derek is reading the Bad Feminist when She-Hulk lands on top of him. She lifts him up and carries him away! She-Hulk is being sued by Mary MacPherran, owner of She-Hulk by Titania! The next morning, Jen is back to normal, she gets a text from Nikki about Titania. The Tattle Show host notes that the Free Titania, a nice nod to Britney, celebrate Titania not being charged. Derek appears surprised and disappointed at Jen not in She-Hulk form. Then, a delievery man arrives and Jen knows he is a process server. Jen talks to the Fourth Wall and mentions a “fun tag.” We see in the credits, Madisynn with a goat wearing a “Hello, my name is Jake” name tag.
Wong has sent Donny to the Mirror Dimension. In the end credit, Wong and Madisynn are watching This is Us, as she asks him about having a tequila sunrise and other drinks. A funny ending! It opens with a commercial, obviously Kardashian inspired, of She-Hulk by Titania. Jen watches it from the kitchen and then driving sees the billboard taht is excluive at the Pop-Up@TheGrove! Later, Ched brings in boxes of She-Hulk products to get signed. Jen tries to explain to her dense brother, annoying, that it is not her products! Nikki takes her straight into the pop-up. Jen sees one of the products is snake oil. She confronts Titania who is signing her photos. At her office, Nikki says that Jen didn’t like the name. Pug asks for a favor of Nikki, to join the line for the new Iron Man Three shoes. He says he has a drip broker and Nikki asks if he can find clothes for a “super human sized person” pointing to She-Hulk. Jen watches Titania’s channel and then says she is over it Fourth Wall-style. Nikki drives Pug over to Cafe Beau-ba, which Pug says is a front.
They enter and he says Alonzo sent him. Nikki tells the worker in Chinese that they are not cops. The owner takes them in the back showing them Captain America shield, Thor hammer, and other merch. Nikki agrees to buying "Avongers" t-shirts and hats so they can meet “The Guy.” A gold elevator has them monitored, an agreement is made for a fifteen minute consulation, and also watches their victory dance. She-Hulk is in the office of Holden Holliway who says the copyright case is bad p.r. for the firm. He mentions that another lawyer is called in, Mallory Book! She shows She-Hulk a desktop photo of Titania who “outmaneuvered” her! Mallory says that they will countersue that the She-Hulk name was used professionally before being trademarked. Titiania was using the established name for profit. This is the first time that there actually seems to lawyer speak. She calls in Nikki who notes that the she has a guy to make supehero clothes, Jen doesn’t want them, the others say she does. At the courtoom, Titania calls her Shrek, as the trial starts.
Mallory tears apart the case noting that the She-Hulk name was identified on the news, evidence which she presents, and that Titania is using it to sell “sham products”! Titania’s lawyer says that Jen wasn’t interested in the name until the “successfull” product line. He brings into evidence the news clip that Jen doesn’t want to be identified as She-Hulk. Mallory counters with her news interview where Jen says she is She-Hulk. The judge rules that the trial will continue. Nikki brings She-Hulk to see the guy, Luke (Griffin Matthews), who is unimpressed by her. He is told by Nikki that Jen is a Hulk by blood and will be the “next mega star”! I’m getting Edna Mode vibes from this guy. Luke wants them out, but Nikki has Jen transform and notes that he has never dressed a Hulk. Luke is on the task, there is a dark, Batman-like suit with nipples! At the law firm, She-Hulk notes that it is one of her bad dates, the fan boy guy, Todd who is a client for Mallory. He has a motive and may be dangerous. Later, Jen and Nikki are talking on a bench, when Jen realizes her dating profile and dates she was on is a pattern they can use on the case! The end of the episode hints at a super cameo, but there are no end credit scene. This episode of She-Hulk is really saved by Mallory Book and the introduction of She-Hulk’s super suit!
