It was a short stroll through Knott’s Spooky Farm today and it was packed! There was easily three times as many guests than the summer! I like Knott’s with open spaces and plenty of places to walk, sit, and eat to appreciate the theme park. On the other hand, there were so many happy, excited guests. At the front of the park, there were associates handing out the red treat bags to kids. Plus, a number of kids were dressed up! Then, around Ghost Town there were a number of Treat Fair booths with associates handing out candy!

I went to the Livery Horse Stable, always fun, last year it was maybe five families. This year, it was a full barn! The kids were excited to see the critters; reptiles; lizards, turtles, and of course the horse with skeleton paint. Also, there was chances for kids to touch them! I also like to check the Boardwalk shop, Cordy’s Corner, to check the new artwork for Scary Farm. Instead, it was on the other side, The Factory Store, by Knott’s Bear-y Tales. The new paintings were stunning including “Lady in the Fog”, a watercolor by S Moto, a pale woman who has bloody tears from her eyes.
Fun and eerie artwork showcased at The Factory Store, author’s photo.
Also, the digital illustration of “Our Bride” by Jeremy Lei who has the ghoulish bride screaming! Tyler D’s painting of a green-skinned woman, “Out of the Veil”, has a clawed hand reaching out of the painting! “Ghost Horse” had what looked like a mounted head of the spectral horse, a resin sculpture, a stunning work by BrittneyCollins. These artworks are all sold and some have prints available. Around the park there is great decorations, white, almost cob webs spread across buildings. It is so fun to spend some time at Knott’s Berry Farm even before the Halloween event, Knott’s Scary Farm, in its 50th year!
