Happy Birthday Katee Sackhoff! She started in television and entered genre territory The Fearing Mind (2001) playing Lenore Fearing. Lenore was the daughter of the thriller novelist who has viewers explore the dark story concepts in his mind. Next, Sackhoff was Jen Danzig in the horror movie, Halloween: Resurrection (2002). It was the last film in the long running Halloween franchise before it was rebooted. Her iconic part was as Lt. Kara “Starbuck” Thrace in the Battlestar Galactica mini-series (2003) that aired on the Sci-Fi Channel. This of course led to the long running Battlestar Galactica series (2004-2009) developed by Ronald D. Moore. Starbuck was the ground breaking female ace fighter pilot like Lt. Sheba in the original series. Sackhoff appeared in the supernatural movie White Noise 2: The Light (2007) playing Sherry Clarke. She appeared in the reboot series, Bionic Woman (2007) as Sarah Corvus, the first bionic woman.
She returned as Starbuck in the Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) tv movie. Dana Walsh in season 8 of 24 (2010) was played by Sackhoff. In 2011, Sackhoff voiced Detective Sarah Essen in the animated movie, Batman: Year One. Bo-Katan Kryze was voiced by Sackhoff in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2012-2013) in several episodes including the 2020 final season. The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia was the 2013 horror movie that that featured Sackhoff. She played Dahl in the sci fi sequel, Riddick (2013). Sackhoff had another horror movie with Oculus (2013). In the two part episodes of Star Wars: Rebels, “Heroes of Mandalore” (2017), Sackhoff voiced Bo-Katan. She was Victoria Moretti in the drama series, Longmire (2012-2017). She appeared as Amunet Black in the The Flash (2017-2020). In 2020, Sackhoff in live action form played Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian. She voiced Poison Ivy in the animated Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two (2021). Sackhoff plays the astronaut, Niko Breckenridge, in the Netflix series, Another Life (2019-2021). Happy Birthday Katee Sackhoff!
