Naomi ramps up to the finale with the truth revealed and a new villain threatening Naomi, her friends, and the entire prom! "Fallout” re:cap, Naomi found at the comic book store by Principal Brooks ditching class. Later, Naomi leaves the principal’s office with her parents. She is still angry at them. Jennifer tells her daughter that she should return home, but Naomi is defiant to both of them. Naomi practices bo stick fighting with Dee, he senses she is distracted, she tells him that she wants to delay going back home. She has difficulty dealing with hard choices, runs away, very teenager-like, but Naomi has shown some maturity. Dee tells her to be strong. Zumbado turns to see Akira at his auto shop. She tells him about Naomi’s transmatter cube. Zumbado realizes that Akira had met with Mac working for Brutus. Naomi gets texts from Greg, ignores them, and then goes to party at the shipyard. Very responsible?

Lourdes ses her and they start dancing when Annabelle joins them. Naomi and Lourdes get close, but Naomi draws away from a kiss. Annabelle doesn’t notice any of this? Lourdes is angry at Naomi’s deception. Alone, Naomi meets Mac!, who says she is going to take her to Brutus or threaten her friends. Outside, Naomi meets with Mac, her message from Brutus is to join him. Mac takes out an energy blade and fights with Naomi. She is knocked own by a blast from Naomi. Then, Naomi is joined by Zumbado and Akira. Mac teleports away. At Annabelle’s room, Naomi finally deals with returning home. Jennifer and Greg are asleep on the couch and get up to talk to her, which she wanted, but Naomi just heads to room. Zumbado meets with Akria who decides to also protect Naomi. This episode begins with Naomi listening to her mother telling her about The Tear, a destructive "environmental weapon."
They tell her that they were scientists that attempted to fix The Tear. Naomi’s parents explain that they made a promise to her birth parents to protect her. Brutus came to power and their was violence and they took Naomi away, but Jennifer and Greg say that Brutus may have gotten her birth parents. Zaumbado told her that her powers can defeat Brutus. Jennifer tells Naomi that they will run or fight whatever she decides. Later, Naomi is getting ready with Annabelle who calls her “basically the Harry Potter of space.” Naomi just wants a normal prom. She gets a text from Nathan and looks at the Action Comics #1000 Jim Lee cover. Naomi flashes back to using her cell phone to take a pic of the comic book. This is almost first time since the beginning that we see a Superman reference. Nathan asks if his sister would like a copy of the Swamp Thing WalMart exclusive. Naomi finds for him a Teen Titans issue.

They introduce themselves to each other, their first meeting, and Naomi tells her inspiration from Superman. Nathan smiles, but the Naomi with glasses is unimpressed. Then, we get Nathan ready for prom. "Worst Prom Ever", I think that award goes to Carrie. He is waiting with Jacob as Greg in his military uniform watches them. Jennifer walks in with a Polaroid camera. Annabelle walks down the stairs. Jacob gives her a flower corsage for her wrist. Naomi is next with her blue-silver dress, Nathan gives her flower corsage. They enter the prom uncertain about the theme, Winter Wonderland, Esme is there and actually worked on the decorations as a student attending the school. They start to dance, but Naomi hears a ringing, she remembers Dr. Bell saying it’s called a resonance and confronting Mac. The lights go out, later Naomi, Jacob, and Annabelle discuss the blackout. Naomi thinks it might be an EMP, electromagnetic pulse. Esme is cheery and says that the power is on.
Nathan joins them as Annabelle and Naomi head to bathroom. At the base, Greg enters and sees Agent Davis (Kurt Yue) who had interviewed everyone about Commander Steel. He brings up S.T.A.R. Labs and Davis sent a team to check out an energy surge. Agent Davis activates the team that breach the lab and enter the ruined lab, the machine starts to activate and the soldiers evacuate. Naomi sees a glowing panel in the school wall, she reaches a finger out to a red glow, it repluses her, a force field. Naomi rushes to see Zumbado, but she is repulsed by the force field! Jacob is checking out the force field with them in the girl’s bathroom. They have two hours to find a way to escape. Annabelle brings up contacting Dee on a CB radio and Naomi knows where to find one. Jacob and Annabelle sneak in the office to find the radio. Naomi goes to get an app to boost the radio’s signal. At the DJ booth, Naomi tries to unlock his box, Nathan walks in with some ice cream. She says she has a project (lie) and Nathan walks away.

At a party, Naomi meets with Annabelle at a house party, Nathan enters and then walks over to Naomi. Annabelle introduces herself and leaves. Nathan tries to charm her and they start to bond over moving to different schools. Jacob and Naomi work on the radio and she tries to contact him. Dee responds and Naomi tells him the situation. They are interrupted by another voice, Julian (Owen Harn) who works for Brutus. He says he is there in the east wing and wants Naomi to meet him there or will ruin the prom! Naomi wonders what to do when Nathan enters, he always seems to show up late. He starts to head out, but Naomi tries to stop him. Nathan breaks up with her, again?, Naomi finally tries to tell the truth about the force field. She was angry at her parents for hiding the truth and now finally she confesses to Nathan about being from another planet. Naomi again doing the same situation as her parents, but doesn’t understand it is the same.
Dee explains to Zumbado, Jennifer, and Greg about the force field. Zumbado knows that the S.T.A.R. tech is known by Mac. He also knows about Julian. Zumbado says they have to destroy the quantum machine. Jacob and Annabelle are happy that Nathan knows the truth. He doesn’t seem to mind that everyone knew the truth except him. Jacob says that there should have been a panic room. The plan is to make the Winter Wonderland will be a panic room. The others distract the students, Naomi says she is going to bring in the stragglers. Nathan tells Esme that the DJ said he wasn’t paid. Naomi heads to the East Wing and sees the appearance of the husky Julian. He knows the names of all of her friends and trapped them in another force field. Julian also knows everyone she knows. At the lab, Zumbado and Dee see the quantum machine sending out the red energy. Zumbado unleashes his power, Dee strikes it again and again, he told Dee that this will cause an explosion! Naomi uses her power, but it is deflected by Julian! This episode of Naomi has some changes, brings her closer to Brutus, and she has to save the day!
