Happy Birthday Donald Glover! He started out as a writer and executive story editor on the comedy 30 Rock. He then had the brilliant role of Troy Barnes in Community (2009-2014). Next, Glover moved into music as Childish Gambino. He had a stand up special, Weirdo (2011) on Comedy Central. Childish Gambino worked with Ludwig Göransson on the album Camp (2011). He returned to television, starring, writing, and esecutive producing the series Atlanta. Earnest “Earn” Marks was played by Glover. Glover played Niko in the horror movie The Lazarus Effect (2015).
In 2017, he played Aaron Davis, who is known as the uncle of Miles Morales, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He won the lead actor and director for Atlanta at the 2017 Emmys. He released “This Is Amerca” in 2018 which won the Grammy for Song of the Year, Best Music Video directed by Hiro Murai, Best Rap/Sung Performance and Record of the Year. Glover played the young Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). He starred with Rihanna in the musical Guava Island streaming on Amazon Prime. Then, he voiced the adult Simba in the remake Lion King (2019). On May 18, Glover returned to play Troy Barnes in the Community Virtual Table Read. This event was to benefit Frontline Foods and World Central Kitchen. It was from season 5's "Cooperative Polygraphy" (2014). Happy Birthday Donald Glover!
