At the Capital, Vorta has Falista and Tobin kneel before them. Zed walking with Jake is stopped by the Zinj. Talon with Luna also hears Vorta. The demon holds up Falista and vaporizes her!, we lost Falista!, her Zinj attaches to the “god.” Tobin slashes off the demon’s hand and he teleports. The awakened demon sends a blast of flame at Tobin. He manages to teleport away and pats out the flames on his vest. He screams at the pain of losing Falista. Janya uses her Zinj to reform the demon’s hand. Teroc wants to hunt the human. Kaltor, new demon, is given power from the she demon, Janya. She has Two’s memory and can find the Skeligor. At the sanctuary, Talon tells Luna she is brave, but Luna feels that she failed her sister. Luna might have the memory to find the key and she goes back into the chambers with the bodies. Luna reaches a barred gate and enters. She walks to a pedestal, flashes back a person bleeding on it, and sees Dred pulling up the key that looks like a staff. Zed and Garret enter The Outpost and under crossbows and spears held by guards, Garret shows Tobin’s ring, and takes the captain’s sword and holds it to his neck.

He swears loyalty to King Tobin. Zed says to them that he saw Tobin giving him the ring. King Garret? So he would be a counterpart to Queen Talon? The captain has the guards set aside their weapons. Garrett gives the captain the order to keep watch. At the Capital, Tobin flashes back to his moments with Falista. He sees the demons ride off on horses and teleports. Another flash back, Luna remembers a chamberlain walking away from Dred. Talon asks if her name is Naya (Amita Suman) and heads off to her town. She was last seen in "This Is Our Outpost" in season 2. Nedra throws daggers when Zed enters, she is still angry at him for leaving the Blackbloods behind. At the lab, Wren gives a bowl of water to the sleeping demon (Pavle Jerinic), Janzo wonder why he is in chains. She shows Janzo the markings that he is a killer. Janzo wants to work out the markings and then the demon wakes up! Talon tells Luna that Naya sent a letter to Janzo. At the tavern, Garret meets with Janzo and Wren, Janzo says there are seven of the “gods.” They are working out the nature of the Zinj and the “gods.” Wren and Janzo take them to see the prisoner, but he has escaped! Garret and Zed, demon slayers?, go to find the escaped prisoner.
Night at The Outpost, Warlita hears a sound, it is the demon, she screams. Munt chases him off. Morning, they go to find Naya, and Talon asks a woman before Luna shows a coin, but slips it away after she points out the direction. Naya is working on a carpet and brings Luna and Talon to a table. Naya tells them Dred took the key to the reliquary. Garret, Zed, and Warlita are talking and then hear Munt trying to hold the demon with a pitchfork. Zed uses his Zinj to force him away as a prisoner. Garret tries to question the demon in the prison cage. Zed says he can only control the demon’s body not his mind. Janzo wants to try to make him an ally and sends the others away. At the tavern, Zed takes a seat next to Nedra, and shares a memory of one of the lost Blackbloods. She doesn’t forgive him for leaving them in the Plane of Ashes. Still, I sense a possible romance when Nedra can forgive Zed. In the forest, Luna walks with her bow, Talon and Naya are behind her. She is still angry that Naya didn’t try more to save her sister. The Outpost tavern, Garret goes to talk with Zed. He says that Talon has gone cold to him. Talon, Luna, and Naya reaches a monument with the Reliquary under it, but there doesn’t seem to be an entrance.

The caged demon eats his meal as Janzo watches and then Munt brings more food. Janzo asks him about the Masters. He offers to take him to the underground where he found the demon. Janzo asks his name and he says 313, an area code?. He admits he serves the Masters and has to listen to Vorta. At the monument, they see the statues guarding the Reliquary. Naya goes to activate levers at the torch bowls. Talon and Luna have bows and take down the two guards rushing towards Naya. Another guard attacks, but Naya stabs him with a sword. She admits that she killed Dred and Luna wants to owe a deb to her. Janzo and Wren follow 313 to the cavern. He is examining everything and realizes that he is the only one awake and tries to stab his neck with the tube, but can’t connect with it. Wren is looking at her books, to find navia, the "voice of the soul". Garrett arrives with Zed who uses his Zinj to control 313. He warns Janzo to be careful that there are others like him and doesn’t want Janzo’s investigation to end up with everyone dead. Naya will lead Talon and Luna to the Reliquary, but they also have to face the danger there. The show always has a cost to characters and cast members, we get to know them, but they may not survive, Falista and Georgia May Foote will be missed! The Outpost ties back to the first season with Dred, but also the Masters and their power!
